The Barrhaven Girls Basketball Association (BGBA) is a non-profit
sports organization which offers girls aged 5 through 18, an opportunity
to participate and enjoy the game of basketball. The BGBA was
established in 1994 and operates with the assistance of
approximately 50 volunteers. Our season is from October to May. During this time, Blue Devils teams compete in several tournaments, competitions and/or leagues.
Any girl may tryout for the Barrhaven Girls Basketball Association. The cost is found on the registration form, payable at registration. Additionally, each player is responsible for all prorated direct team costs (e.g., to attend tournaments).
Registration must be completed prior to the beginning of team practices in the fall, since the BGBA's liability insurance does not cover unregistered players.
Registration numbers will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the date the registration form is received by the BGBA registrar.
