Volunteer Screening

The BGBA has instituted a background police check program to help ensure the safety of our players. Volunteers working directly with children will be asked to submit to a background check and may be asked to provide personal references.

Basketball experience is not necessary - just a desire to do something for the community! And, having children in the BGBA programs is not a necessity either! We welcome basketball lovers from all over, and many of our volunteers are just in it for the kids.
